Self-Publish Your Big Book Idea

A good book is more than a product, it’s more than marketing… it can define your brand and put your business above a crowded, noisy industry.   Imagine what it would feel like to have your own book.

There were 297 Million non-traditional books sold in 2016, most of them self-published.  You don’t need a big publisher to be successful as an author. The truth is that you can be competitive in almost any genre… and there are huge opportunities for books that match under-served genres.

In Self-Publish Your Big Idea Book, Dale Thomas Vaughn sorts out facts from fiction about self-publishing, while breaking down his systematic approach to structuring, writing and publishing books.  As a result, attendees will understand how to harness the power of self-publishing to raise your profile in your industry.

What You Will Learn

•  Ways to identify key characteristics of your target audience so as to create standout books

•  How to target your book to a hungry audience

•  Strategies for writing and formatting your book

•  Ways to leverage Amazon to be a Best-Seller and sell more books

Instructor: Dale Thomas Vaughn

Dale Thomas Vaughn is the best-selling author of six books, including “Wine Snobs Are Boring” and “The Good Life Plan.”   He has edited and coached the authors of 15 books from start to finish, in genres ranging from food to fiction to poetry.

Vaughn began his communications career at Southwest Airlines, wrote speeches and articles in the Houses of Parliament and helped establish Ticketmaster’s communications department.

In 2010 Vaughn turned his passion for activism into a full time entrepreneurial endeavor, using his professional PR skills for his own companies. He has since reached millions of impressions across media including CNN, CBS, Huff Post Live, and dozens of top podcasts.

That credibility led him to speak on the biggest stages in his field (including a TEDx Talk) and to grow valuable businesses in niche markets.

He now teaches his system for publicity, speaking, and publishing to entrepreneurs through workshops, virtual classes and live consulting.
