19th Annual Hematology and Breast Cancer Update

The 19th Annual Hematology and Breast Cancer Update is a multiple-day course designed for hematologists, oncologists and related healthcare professionals in clinical practice. Our faculty will review and provide updates on a wide range of current topics in hematology and breast cancer therapy.

The outcome are to increase knowledge of most current management and research in treatment of hematologic diseases and breast cancer. At the conclusion of the activity participants will be able to:

• Integrate the newer therapies into their treatments course.
• Select the best agent for initial treatment of CML as well as those with sub-optimal responses.
• Decide how long to treat patients with venous thrombosis.
• Describe developments in new agents for myeloproliferative syndromes and familiarize attendees with new findings from the 2017 American Society of Hematology and the 2017 San Antonio Breast Cancer meeting will provide a bridge between new research directions.
