When disasters strike, lives, homes, businesses, churches…everything and everyone can be affected. LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) volunteers respond quickly to serve people affected by a disaster. LERT teams are trained to work through local churches to serve their communities.
The basic LERT training is a four-hour introduction to disaster response. This training will prepare team member for credentialing and will focus on the safety, work, and ministry of Lutherans as Early Responders.
The training will take place on Saturday, October 28, 9am - 3pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Santa Rosa. Lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend; however, there will be a free-will offering.
So that we can prepare for lunch, please register by 5pm on Thursday, October 26.
