Nicole Pallone

The idea of switching to a Simplified Diet can be terrifying for anyone who has spent a lifetime counting every mg of phe. With BCCH dieticians, CanPKU Director, Nicole Pallone, helped develop a slow steady switch to reduce the anxiety to the family by recording the patient’s phe levels throughout each phase and will share these ideas and results with you. Nicole will also provide a quick overview of the two PKU research projects she has partnered with Beth Potter and the University of Ottawa on, and share with you how you can help in this research.

+  More Time to Discuss With Your Fellow Peers Other Issues Important to You During the Breakout Sessions

As usual we will provide on-site childcare at no additional charge for registered children 12 and under, have several metabolic vendors present with samples, and we will provide PKU-friendly snacks and lunch.

Travel Scholarships are available to assist families in attending our event. The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 12, 2017. Please click here for more information and Eligibility Criteria!
