Join us for a screening and discussion - Of Race and Reconciliation.

In 1885, Tacoma’s Chinese residents were forcefully expelled from the city. Of Race and Reconciliation explores the history and consequences of this event, and how far efforts toward reconciliation have come.

Special Guests:

  • Liz Dunbar, Executive Director of Tacoma Community House
  • Theresa Pan Hosley, President, The Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation
  • Michael Sullivan, Principal and Historian, Artifacts Historic Preservation

Please plan to arrive early. Your reservations will be held until 6pm.  Unclaimed reservations will be released to the general public at 6:10.

This is a free event, however Meaningful Movies is kindly requesting donations to help pay for the venue rental.
