11th Annual Great Waterfront Trail Adventure 2018
A "Classic Waterfront Trail ride"  from Ajax to the Quebec border.

The Great Waterfront Trail Adventure (GWTA) is an annual cycling holiday hosted by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust. Join us in 2018 as we celebrate the 11th annual GWTA  by riding from Ajax on the shores of Lake Ontario, through Prince Edward County and alongside the St. Lawrence river to the Quebec Border. Experience the history of Ontario as we ride from Ajax - one of our first Waterfront Trail communities to the Eastern terminus of the Great Lake Waterfront Trail at the Quebec border. Discover vibrant communities and experience delicious local food and entertainment; Enjoy riding through Eastern Ontario, along sections of beautiful off road waterfront trail, through the historic city of Kingston, the Thousand Islands and the wonderful Long Sault Parkway. Take time to get off your bike and visit charming shops, unique local attractions and  experience a few surprises long the way!

SNIPPETS OF WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Daily maps and itineraries
• A mix of trail  and road riding on predominantly quiet country roads.
• Join our  shuttle vans at designated rest stops. Cycle the sections you want to ride and spend more time shopping, eating, wine tasting, exploring historical sites by using our designated shuttle stops.
• Daily riding distances of 40 to 110km (25 to 68 miles)
• Meet and greet receptions, celebration dinner and all breakfasts are included in the cost of registration
• New for 2018 - two nights of non camping accomodation including a final night at the NAV centre with its amazing amenities.

Adult:

• Before Jan 31, 2018: $825 + $107.25 HST + $20 processing fee
• Feb 1- July 7, 2018:  $865 + $112.45 HST + $20 processing fee

Waterfront Trail Champion

• $500 + $65.00 HST + $20 processing fee + $1,000 in fundraising. Includes commemorative GWTA Jersey - This year a generous donor has agreed to fund $200 of the $1,000 fundraising requirement for the first 5 people who register as a Waterfront Trail Champion. 

Student (aged 17 to 25)

•  $550 + $71.00 HST + $20 processing fee

Child (16 and under): 

• $300 +$39 H.S.T + $20 processing fee

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

• Pay with credit card: Payment is made by credit card through PayPal's secure site. PayPal account is not required. 
• Pay with cheque: register online and send cheque by mail. Cheques should be received within two weeks of online registration, and registration is tentative until cheque is received by the Trust. Send cheques to: Waterfront Regeneration Trust
