The Basics with Mary: Knife Skills, Making Soups & Salsas

The most important tools in the kitchen are your knives. Do you know how to use them properly? Come learn tips and tricks to make slicing, chopping and dicing a pleasure, not a chore. In this practical, hands on class Mary Weaver, owner of Newport Cooks, will go over proper knife skills and techniques as we work together to create 2 delicious fresh salsas and a Harvest Vegetable Soup. We’ll eat everything we make in class and taste wine when we eat.
