The Meet Your Farmer Dinner Series is a wonderful way to really meet your local farmers!
Meet Your Farmer dinners consist of a locally sourced, gourmet meal hosted by and prepared by rotating local restaurants. During dinner you will be treated to a presentation by the evening's featured farmer.
About Barrio: Barrio is a Latin inspired restaurant serving lunch, dinner and happy hour in downtown Bend, Oregon. Here, you'll find bold, flavorful food, craft cocktails, daily specials, and friendly, approachable, service.
About Golden Eagle Organics: The Lepore Family (Brian, Emily, Gus, Claudia and Bodhi the dog) migrated to Central Oregon from East-Central Indiana in 2012. Brian spent the previous decade researching and teaching agricultural and environmental soil sciences and Agroecology. During that time, he worked with many farmers in their fields and fell in love with farming. Brian and family now raise goat, lamb and beef.

Mexican Matzoh Ball Soup
Lamb bone broth, herbs + veggies
3rd Course:
Lambs lettuce (mache) salad
Pickled fennel, goat cheese, drunken cranberries, local pumpkin
4th Course:
Lamb Sampler
Pepita crusted lamb chops, house-made merquez sausage, lamb/pineapple pinchos, griddled grits, mint aioli, pomegranate
Dessert:
House-made chocolate truffle trio
