Program Overview

CVI's 2nd Annual Cardiology Fellows Program: Interventional Cardiology for General and Interventional Fellows is a free educational training program for fellowship trainees.

The purpose of our program is to provide a practical, focused, in-depth educational training experience.  Our agenda features nationally recognized experts leading small group learning sessions including:

*Focused didactic presentations
*Case reviews
*Panel discussions and Q&A
*Hands-on training featuring wet models, simulations and challenging cases.  Faculty mentors will
work along side industry training specialists to maximize attendee's educational experience.

Our program format also encourages networking among colleagues as well as with our faculty of regionally and nationally recognized cardiovascular thought leaders.

Interactive Learning Stations/Hands-On Wet Models and Simulations

Our academic agenda closes with a 90-minute session, offering attendees an opportunity to work through four (4) interactive learning stations featuring hads-on wet models, simulations and challenging cases.  Faculty mentors will work along-side industry training specialists to maximize attendee's educational experience.

Learning station topics will focus on disease states covered throughout the day's curriculum.

A full listing of interactive learning stations will be available soon.

Fellows Case Competition and Award

This is your chance to participate on the faculty for CVI's 2nd Annual Cardiology Fellows Program:
*Submit case presentations in one of two categories: Focus Topic Case (relating to a topic in the
program), or a Complication Case
*Course Directors and Associates review all cases and select a winner in each category
*Winners will work with a faculty mentor from our planning committee to finalize their presentation
and then present their case during the program, sharing the stage with national and regional
thought leaders in interventional cardiology
*We will be giving away an Apple iPad as the prize!

Networking Reception

CVI's 2nd Annual Cardiology Fellows Program concludes with a 90-minute reception offering opportunities to interact and network with our faculty of nationally recognized thought leaders and representatives from many of the Greater Philadelphia Region's Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Programs.
