We’re supporting the Santa in a Shoebox initiative by coordinating a team of volunteers to sort items, pack and gift-wrap hundreds of shoeboxes to be distributed to families and individuals throughout the Kenosha community who are in need of support and holiday cheer. Now in its ninth year, Santa in a Shoebox is a local initiative in the Racine and Kenosha communities. In 2016 –over 2,000 shoeboxes were delivered to individuals and families.

Register to volunteer at the sorting, packing and gift-wrapping party. This hands-on volunteer opportunity will start at 6:00 p.m. on December 15 at Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly. Volunteers will be provided with the necessary directions and supplies to support the project. Please plan for a three-hour volunteer shift if possible.
