Although Reverse Mortgages have been around for more than 20 years in the United States, there still remains a wide gap between how the program truly works and the knowledge of even the most seasoned Real Estate agents and Mortgage Loan officers. That lack of knowledge translates to a poor understanding to the homeowner and the many great benefits available to them.

This course will teach the Real Estate agent everything they need to know about this simple and straight forward product in order to enhance the buying experience of everyone involved but especially their customers.

You will learn about the different types of Reverse Mortgages, both Purchase Reverse as well as traditional Re-Finance Mortgages. This in-depth course will also teach you the inner workings of a Reverse Mortgage in areas ranging from the larger view of “Borrower Qualifications” to the details of “how an interest rate is determined”.

This course in addition will debunk the myths surrounding Reverse Mortgages. To this day 90% of people surveyed believe that “The Bank owns their Home” when they do a Reverse Mortgage. Naturally, that is 100% opposite of the truth, yet the myth prevails. There are at least a dozen addition similar myths that can best be dispelled through proper training and education.
