As an undergraduate at University of Texas, Josh was NCAA champion in the 200 Free and earned a total of 23 All American honors. In Atlanta ’96, Josh made history as the only man in any sport from any nation to win three gold medals: 400FR, 800FR & 400MR relays. In Sydney ’00, Josh was captain of the team and won two silver medals: 400 & 800 relays. He also broke the American record in the 200FR three times. Most recently, Josh set the masters records in freestyle in his age dvision (40-45). He has been teaching and racing for the last 15 years across America and is committed to promoting the sport and all its values. Davis has ties to the Amarillo area. He married fellow Longhorn and Hereford volleyball standout, Shantel Cornelius, who still has family in Amarillo. Davis will not only encourage your swimmer to be the their best in the pool but also to be their best beyond the pool. Currently, Davis is the head swim coach for Oklahoma Christian University.
