The State of the Individual Disability Income Industry

This two-hour intermediate course is intended for insurance agents and brokers who are familiar with the fundamental concepts of disability insurance products. First, we will explore where the DI industry has been, and how it got to its present state. Using third-party industry research sources we will review what is happening now with insurers, the challenges they face, and what they are doing to meet those challenges. Lastly we will identify trends that are likely to affect the DI industry going forward and the opportunities presented to agents and brokers.
