Introduction to Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Teams Skills Seminar for Students

This two-day Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Teams Skills Seminar for Students is an active course designed to introduce students to collaborative practice. Expert faculty will teach participants skills they need to be an effective member of an interprofessional team, including:

  • Self-assessment and development
  • Teams training with a 3 ½ hour high ropes course
  • Trust and building team relationships
  • Culture of civility and trust
  • Self-care for leadership and career resiliency

The workshop will be held three different times to accommodate individual schedules.  The current dates available are March 10 & 11 and April 7 & 8, 2018.  Selection of dates will be in the registration form.  

Note that the workshop will be held in two separate locations. It will be at the Education Center at Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence on Saturday and Goddard Middle School on Sunday. Lunch will be provided for you. Workshop updates will be sent out at least 2 weeks prior to start date.  To register, click the button below. Each participant will receive $100 for full participation upon completion of the two day course.

The Introduction to Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Teams Skills Seminar for students is operated by an organization independed from and not affiliated with or sponsored by the CU Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus. Students who choose to participate in this program do so with the understanding that the University does not oversee, operate, or manage this program and will not be liable to the students, family, heirs, or assigns under any circumstance for anything which may arise during the course of this program or during independent travel that may occur before or after the program. Students from CU Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus are not requried to participate in this course as part of their academic curriculum.
