'Glyphosate', a formidable poison slowly permeating into everything!
Glyphosate, a toxic pesticide and active ingredient found in Monsanto's Round-up, is used by farmers across North America and has been declared a “possible carcinogen” by the World Health Organization in 2016.
- Supresses the immune system
- Impairs digestion
- Compromises adrenal function
- Is a major cause of fatigue
- Impairs the absorption of minerals and other nutrients
- Is responsible for many unexplained symptoms and disorders
Many of the foods sprayed with glyphosate include non-GMO crops, such as wheat, barley, rye, tomatoes, yams, potatoes and zucchini, to name just a few.
In this interactive presentation, you will learn how glyphosate disrupts the 'shikimate pathway', affecting many body systems starting in the gut (thanks to the work by MIT researcher Stephanie Seneff). Primarily, the focus is how it affects your sleep cycle; a major cause of fatigue and still gut health related. Other sources and foods containing glyphosate will be discussed, as well as ways to minimize consumption and how to protect your health.
Alexi Bracey, a plant-based food chef, focuses on gluten and dairy-free organic cuisine by creating health through lifestyle habits of good nutrition, environmentally safe home environment and emotional management. Her latest project is building a Hub community of health experts.
