Athlete Practical Workshop

Maximum Velocity Running

Following on from a successful first workshop, we are pleased to announce the second in a series of Athlete Talent Development Workshops that Speedworks Charity will be hosting. The charity’s Head Coach, Marvin Rowe, along with Performance Director, Jonas Dodoo, will be delivering the technical sessions throughout the morning workshop supported by a number of the charity’s current athletes.

This workshop is a fantastic and unique opportunity for aspiring athletes, of all ages, to access a level of expertise that is normally inaccessible and unaffordable.

Athletes will learn about the fundamentals of max velocity running, in a practical and enjoyable setting, including:

  •  How to transfer Strength into Power into Technique
  •  Learn specific Warm-up Drills, Pre-activation and Technical Max Velocity Mechanics
  •  See how your results compare with similar developing athletes and even elite athletes
  •  Live demonstrations and personal feedback
  •  Special guest appearance from an elite athlete, who competed in the World Championships 2017, as part of the Great British and NI team! (we will reveal who very soon)

If you’re not sure, just imagine what a difference it could make to your performance if you walked away with a better understanding of full flight running, speed and power, and how you could then apply that to the spectrum of strength, plyometrics and technical drills. How would this help you fulfil your potential as an athlete?

This workshop is expected to be very popular and will sell out fast and there are limited places available. If you would like anymore information then please email info@speedworks.training, otherwise please register and sign up below.
