The Northeast Ohio School of Ministry (NEOSOM) is offering two classes for Winter 2018: Worship and An Introduction to Christian Theology. The classes are open to students of the program and available for audit to non-students. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 27.
Worship
Class Fee: $100

Instructor: Rev. Jeff Gerber and Pastor Jill Lovett
Description: This class will entail an overview of worship, look at current trends, and explore ways to adapt worship in our local churches.
Dates: Tuesdays, January 9-30 and February 6-27 (Note: class may opt to put the 16 hours in fewer classes, eliminating some of the February dates)

Description: An Introduction to Christian Theology will expose students to basic questions in Christian Theology (but not limited to): Who is Jesus? What do we mean when we say that God is Triune? Why does evil exist? What is the role of the Holy Spirit? What is the purpose of the church? What happens to us after we die? What happens to people who aren't Christian? Students will be encouraged to develop their own answers to these questions and develop the language and skills to explain these answers to others.
Dates: Tuesdays, January 16-30; February 6 & 27; March 6-20
