Becoming a Value Added Librarian

Not all teachers and administrators realize how valuable a School Library can be. This session will cover methods of keeping your library relevant, viable, transformative & essential in your school. Learn what a VAL- Value Added Librarian is and why you want to become one. Ideas for making sure others know about your library, it services and activities. Build collaboration with teachers and students to provide content for all instructional needs, interests and learning styles. Develop and/or curate resources to make your Media Center an integral part of the learning in your building, district and community.
