"Have You Developed an Immunity to Change?"

This seminar will discuss our built-in immunity to change and how that keeps us from embracing change. We will also go over some steps that will help us to deal with the invisible roadblocks that make it so hard to change.

Biography

Tim provides organizational training, development, and coaching services in leadership, listening, communication, conflict management, mediation, and team building. His work is based on training and facilitating trust-based relationships. He is an authorized partner with Wiley and Sons for both, Everything DiSC personality assessments, and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. Tim provides training and personality style assessments for BKD Partners for the entire state of Oklahoma.

Tim discovered from running his own business for many years that a manager can make or break an employee. Tim observed that as in most relationships, both personal and professional, relational problems are rooted in poor communication that often leads to conflict.  He now uses the skills he first learned as a business owner and counselor to coach and train people in the workplace.

Tim is the author of, "Powerful Listening. Powerful Influence. Work Better. Live Better. Love Better."

Tim lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife, where they enjoy weekly conversations over the dinner table with their two sons and their wives, and their grandson.

Event Details

- Lunch will be served at the Vast Devon Tower Restaurant with a mini-Daily Table menu, featuring fine dining cuisine and desserts

- Mr. Hast's presentation on Change qualifies for 1 hour of CPE

- Limited free parking is available in the Devon Energy Visitor Parking Garage, located just north of the building on Harvey Ave, on a first-come, first-serve basis with a maximum of 50 spots available. Obtain a ticket from the parking garage, bring it to the meeting and have it validated by the Vast staff, and present validated ticket upon exit. Self-parking is available for $5 per car at Beffort's Garage on the east side of Harvey Avenue, north of Devon Tower, and valet parking is available for $10 per car at the north entrance of Devon Tower on Harvey Avenue. • Seminar and Luncheon (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM): Members $20; Guests $30, Student IMA Members Free
• Prepaid Members and Guests may attend the event (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) for no additonal charge
