Senior Accountant - Full-time

This full time Senior Accountant will administer a variety of accounting activities, as delegated by the Chief Financial Officer. This position will be responsible for preparing financial statements, grant reports and budgets, processing payroll, and performing general ledger reconciliations.

Responsibilities include:

 Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of:o Cash management schedules,o Audit schedules including, but not limited to, Schedule of Federal and State Awards, Net Assets, and Consolidation/Elimination of Entities,o Grant/program budgets and reportso Monthly management reports for service fees, investments, and selected programs, ando Data for preparation of annual tax returns. Primary responsibility for monthly closings and preparation of monthly income and expense statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

 Review assigned tasks performed by other staff in the department. Review Accounts Receivable billings and aging’s monthly; investigate past due accounts

 Coordinate activities with Agency’s collection policy. Manage assigned governmental grants to ensure compliance with OMB’s Uniform Guidance.

 Prepares payroll; works directly with human resources director to gather payroll and benefits information and to produce supportive administrative reports.

 Primary responsibility for coordination with the auditors for the year-end audit.

 Primary responsibility for annual budget preparation.

 Provides backup for and assistance to the Accounting Associate, Staff Accountant and Medical Billing Coordinator.

Registered Nurse Care Manager - Full-time

This full-time Registered Nurses to provide case management services through in person assessments and ongoing support services to elderly and/or disabled persons enrolled in JFS's Family Care program.  

 Responsibilities include:

  Monitoring health and safety of members enrolled in the Family Care program.

  Providing assessment and case management of the health-care needs of clients.

  Evaluate members’ ability to safely manage their medication; medical care interventions and treatment; equipment; and access to health care services.

  Ensure that the member’s physician or appropriate medical professional is notified when the member has an acute change in condition.

  Provide or arrange for services, supports, or medical care that best meet members’ identified needs.

  Communicate verbally and in writing with external entities such as guardians, clinic staff, and providers.

  Perform routine health-monitoring activities, for example: reviewing blood sugar, monitoring results.

  Administer nursing service according to Nurse Practice Act.

  Serve as liaison to doctors and other health care providers. Provide coordination with primary and acute care systems.
