Winter Jewels & Winter Thrillers
Hellebore Pre-Order 2018 

The Winter Jewels and Winter Thrillers hellebores are the best available in North America. They come in double and single strains with bold, rich colours, large, symmetrical flowers, and great vigour. These strains also improve every year due to the diligent breeding of Hellebore Queen Marietta O’Byrne and up and comer Chris Hansen. Because they are seed strains every plant is unique and collectible. The exact colour of each plant will be close to the pictures but not always exact, though always beautiful. 

 

These Lenten roses bloom from February through April. No garden is complete without hellebores and these special series are sure to add precious colour to your late winter and early spring garden. This year we are offering starter size plants that may put out their first bloom this season or might wait until next season. You can shop a la carte to get your exact colours or purchase one of five collections and  save 15%! 

Starter plants are strong and healthy adolescents in 4.5” pots that are mostly one year from blooming though at this size about 10-25% could bloom this year. The rest should start next year and perhaps a few the year after. 

Pick-Up or Shipping: Plants will be available for pick-up at the Hellebore Hurrah! February 23rd-25th, 2018 or any day after that weekend. We can also ship your plants anywhere in Canada. We will ship between early March and early April depending on the weather conditions in your area. We cannot hold plants for shipping beyond early April.

Important Note: When you check out, click on the Pay with PayPal link. Once there you can use a PayPal account or simply pay with your Visa or MC and PayPal will process the transaction for us. When using your Visa or MC you do not need a PayPal account.

Local Customers: Plants will be ready for pick-up at the Hellebore Hurrah! Opening Weekend February 23-25, 2018 or any time after that. Pre-orders are held for 4 weeks after which time your plants are returned to general inventory and you will be given a credit at the nursery. No refunds are given. 

Canadian Mail Order Customers: Many of these hellebores will be available on our official mail order site in 2018 if supplies remain after the Hellebore Hurrah!. If you are a fan of hellebores and want to ensure you get certain strains, it is best to order here with a minimum $40 in plants. Orders will be shipped from early March to early April, depending on the weather conditions in your area. Orders cannot be held any later than early April. If you have ordered other plants and they are ready at the same time, we will ship together. However, if your other plants are not ready we cannot hold your hellebores beyond early April to wait for your other plants. We are unable to quote a shipping rate for your hellebores within this pre-order but can tell you that we charge the Canada Post rate plus a small amount to cover our costs. We do not make money on shipping.
