Educators leave field experiences excited to bring personalized learning to life in their own school or learning environment. Many, though, have lingering questions or are looking for opportunities to dig deeper into practices and specific elements at play in a system.

Immersion Days are designed and facilitated in partnership with the Institute. They provide an in-depth view of one district’s approach to personalization, and provide more time to see the powerful learning strategies in action across multiple sites and classrooms.

Participants will gain applicable background on the implementation of personalized learning and are provided the opportunity to dialogue with practitioners, and students, to better understand their practices and authentic learning experiences.

Here is what the day will include:

• Welcome/introduction session
• Visits to multiple personalized learning classrooms
• Discussion sessions
• Lunch
• Team time with access to coaching from both the Mayville School District and the Institute for Personalized Learning.
