Chrism Mass & Education Day for Clergy, Wardens & Treasurers 

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, the annual Chrism Mass will be held at The Cathedral of St. Andrew, Honolulu. It will be followed by an Education Day for Clergy, Wardens and Treasurers. 

Chrism Mass

At this service, the Bishop blesses the oils of chrism (for baptism), healing, and the catechumenate, and the clergy take a portion of these oils back to their own churches for use during the coming year.

Reminder to clergy:
Bring bottles (sized for TSA approval, if necessary) so that you can take oils back to your congregation.  

Education Day for Clergy, Wardens, Treasurers

After the Chrism Mass will be an Education Day in the various meeting spaces of the Cathedral.  Each group will have their own "professional development" sessions.  For Warden's, this will be a sequel to the Warden Boot Camp, and Treasurers will have an opportunity to meet as a group and learn about their roles and responsibilities.

8:30 AM:  Registration
9:00 AM:  Chrism Mass
10:30 AM - 4:00 PM:  Education Day (There will be a 45 minute break for lunch)
