Spring Youth Soccer 2018 Registration 

Registration Cost:  $80.00 (discount for siblings) (late fees after 2/21/2018)

Registration is open for any child, ages 3-18, who enjoys encouragement, positive role models, making friends, learning about the sport of soccer, and most of all... learning about who loves us most, Jesus Christ! 

 Registration is on a first come first served basis - January 1st to 22nd is Early Registration.  Standard Registration is from January 23rd to February 20th.  Late Registration is from February 21st to 28th. SOAR will do it’s best to get a child on a team but strives to keep teams even and competitive.

Important Dates:

• January 1 - 22 - Early Registration
• January 23 - February 20 - Standard Registration
• February 17 - Coaches' Clinic
• February 24 - Referees' Clinic
• February 21 - Late Registration Begins
• February 26 - 1st week of practice
• March 17 - Games Begin
• April 14 - Picture Day
• March 31 - No Games (Spring Break)
• April 2 - 5 - No practice (Spring Break) (games resume on April 7)
• May 12 -  SOARfest (1-hour delay)

Practices and Games:

• Practices are held only one day during the week
  (Monday - Thursday at either 5:30 or 6:30)
• Coaches or team chaplains will do a devotion at every practice.
  Devotions will be provided at the coaches clinic, website and SOAR app (for iPhones and Android phones).
• Games are held on Saturday mornings, weather permitting.

What is Included:

• Registrants will receive a jersey, exceptional sports instruction time, weekly devotional time, and 8 games with referees (U10 and up). U12 and under will also receive a medal at the end of the season. 
• U18 players will receive a jersey, exceptional sports instruction time, weekly devotional time, and 9 games with referees (including an in-house tournament).

Important Information for Coaches:

• Coaches' Clinic will be held February 17th from 9 to 11am (refreshments will be provided).
• To qualify for the coach's discount, all coaches & assistant coaches need to attend!

Discounts Available:

• Discount fee for Head Coaches: $30 off the total bill. To receive a discount, coaches must be present at our coaches' clinic on February 17th, 2018.
• Discount fee for 1 Assistant Coach: $15 off the total bill. To receive the discount, assistant coaches must be present at our coaches' clinic on February 17th, 2018. Each team will only be allowed 1 assistant coach discount.
• Scholarship applications are available. Please contact Registration Coordinator, Dawn Walters, at dawn.walters@soarleagues.com. (SOAR may require volunteer hours in exchange for scholarship).

Participant/ Parent Agreement

As parent/guardian of the named player,

I hereby give my permission for his/her participation in SOAR and state that my child is in good health. This application is made with the expressed understanding that SOAR, its employees, volunteers, and sponsors, are not responsible for any sickness, damages, or injury that the player may incur while participating in this program, or during transport to and from the program site. I give permission for photographs and/or video to be taken of my child or family during normal program activities to be used in SOAR promotional materials without thought of remuneration.  I further understand that all fees must accompany application, cleats and shin guards are required, no insurance is provided by SOAR, and proof of insurability is required.

As a SOAR participant, I agree to abide by SOAR policies and guidelines for good sportsmanship. 

Dress Code

All participants will be expected to abide by the dress code that is offered on our website at soarleagues.com

Please, no Pets at the facility. Drugs, alcohol and any tobacco products, vapor cigarettes, also weapons of any sort (e.g., knives, guns) will not be permitted on the Sports Complex. If any person is found in possession or under the influence of and/or in the possestion of any of the above, he/she will be asked to leave or sent home at the expense of the parents -- either by the parent coming to pick up the participant or expenses for any other transportation – and law officers will be notified.
