2018 High School Glorybound Registration 

July 12-15th

Join us for Glorybound 2018!  Glorybound is a Texas LCMS Gathering offered every three years to our 8th grade- high school students.  This year Glorybound is held in Irving, TX at the Westin Hotel.

In addition to Glorybound, we encourage you to our attend our Local Missions Weekend (February). Please register for this seperately.

REGISTRATION: Everyone needs to register!  This helps us with headcount and planning for our gathering.  If you need to register more than one participant please make sure that you register additional participants under the tab "other particpants".  This allows you to use one registration email for all participants.  **Please make sure you register with an email that you want to recieve communication from.**  

NON-REFUNDABLE COST: Includes gathering cost, hotel & meals
$310 Student

$310 Adult

We will be asking for donated breakfast items to help offset food costs as well as parent transporation.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

  • $50 Due when you register to hold your spot (non-refundable)
  • $150 Due March 4th
  • $110 Due May 28th.

PARENT HELP:  We are looking for adults who can help us plan before the trip with logistics (paperwork & food).  This is a great way to help serve behind the scenes!  We are always in need of ADULT CHAPERONES to make our gathering possible!! 

FORMS: Forms are available at log.org/youth/forms
We will need a 2017-2018 LOG Medical Release & Permission Form and a photocopy of your health insurance card from every participant.  If you will be age 18 or older by the date of this event, please complete a Background Check Form.  We ask for these forms every year in the fall and keep them on file for all youth events over the next 12 months. If you have completed these forms for the September 2017-August 2018 time period you do not have to fill them out again. More additional Glorybound forms may be needed in later months.

FUNDRAISING: We really need your involvement in our fundraising efforts for our trips including Glorybound!  Because this is the first year we are re-introducing our event we do not have designated budget for our event making fundraising critical this year!  We are able to offer our trips at a discounted rate of what the actual trip costs through fundraising and donations! More information will be sent to you about our fundraising events.  We are also looking for a team of parents to help plan additional fundraising events for our mission trip fund.

Fundraising policy: To make our fundraising efforts fair to participants you will receive fundraising costs depending on how much fundraising you participate in.  We will have some type of system to record what events you helped participate in so please make sure to attend!  

PARENT MEETING: Parents please join us for mandatory parent meeting, Sunday, March 25th during Sunday School Hour in spare Youth Classroom. This meeting will cover details about Glorybound.

We have extended the Registration Deadline however we must cut of registration on :  Sunday, March 25th, 2018

After completing registration you should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.  If you do not receive that confirmation email that means that we did not get your registration!  Please contact us immediately so that we make sure we secure your spot!
