Please join the WNG when we meet with Maggy Sterner, a branding expert, business coach, writer and speaker. Welcoming remarks will be offered by Bill Stokes, Chairman of the Washington Network Group.
About this Session:
Is everyone at your organization telling the same story about your brand message, your mission, and the difference it makes? Can you describe what your nonprofit does in clear, simple language? Is your ENTIRE team aligned with your mission? In this session, Maggy will discuss with us the components of a clear, effective brand message and mission statement; How to craft your mission statement so it connects powerfully with everyone (your staff, board, volunteers, and donors); Why "selling" your nonprofit's brand message matters, what "selling" really means, and how to do it from your heart.
About Our Presenter:
Maggy Sterner
Maggy Sterner is a branding expert, business coach, writer, and speaker. Her mission is helping organizations discover their core brand message - that thing they really do - because when they know it, own it, and say it early they can fulfill their mission. Maggy shows nonprofits how to communicate their brand through a mission statement in plain English, using simple, powerful words, so the people they're trying to reach connect with their cause and are inspired to help. Maggy believes your brand is what you stand for and what you stand for is your brand. Know it, own it, articulate it and watch the magic happen. Learn more about Maggy at maggysterner.com.
