About Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC):
VOC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado's natural resources. We host nearly 100 outdoor volunteer projects across the state each year for people of all ages and abilities: from easy half-day planting projects to overnight trail-building trips on Colorado's tallest peaks, anyone can find their place in caring for Colorado with VOC.

What's a volunteer leader?

The success of our projects depends on trained volunteers to assist in project planning and execution. These roles include Crew Leaders, who lead small crews of volunteers in stewardship work on the ground; Crew Chefs, who plan and provide meals for volunteers during projects; and Tool Managers, who organize and transport tools and equipment. You do not have to be an existing volunteer to pursue volunteer leadership, though it is recommended.
