Introduction to Supervision (03/15/18)

Supervision is about eliciting the best from employees regarding both productivity and workplace relationships, meaning getting the job done and treating co-workers and customers with respect. Learn the differences between oversight and micromanagement, why even competent people need supervision, keeping the team on track, the importance of positive reinforcement and constructive criticism, and having difficult conversations.

Participants will:

  • Improve their communication with employees.
  • Focus more identifying successes rather than reinforcing failure.
  • Be better equipped to set limits and consequences.
