Join us to learn more about Lydia's House, SOS’s first multi-year grant recipient, and support their Lydia’s Ladle program, which gives domestic violence victims an opportunity to work in a safe environment free from the abuser in confidentially-located employment.
Karen Kirk of Lydia’s House will discuss their mission to end domestic violence by offering victims transitional housing and programs. Through Lydia's Ladle, Lydia's House residents bake a variety of delicious items, including the gourmet pot pies and fruit pies now found at Dierbergs, Straub's, City Greens and the Smokehouse Market at Annie Gunn's.
We'll be enjoying their chicken pot pie and Very Berry desert pie during the event.
