2018 National Scrapbook Day Island Getaway - The Old West

Saddle Up and Mosey on Over for  a Weekend of Craftin' Y'all!

We are so excited to be returning to the Courtyard Marriott in San Jose, California for our 2018 National Scrapbook Day Island Getaway. This is our fifth year holding our National Scrapbook Day event at this hotel and we have made this year's event even better!!! If you want to guarantee that you have an end spot, you are in luck!

Cost: $289.00

Hold your spot with a deposit of only $130!!! (only available if registered by March 20th, 2018) 

Your weekend will include:  

Debbie Vaccaro as your hostess all weekend
A table with lots of room for you and all your creative goodies
Create Friday from 1:00 pm until you drop
Create Saturday from 8:00 am until whenever you want to stop
Create Sunday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm
Lots of creating time...how many hours is up to you!!!!!! (nobody says you have to sleep.....)
Snack on Friday night (can you say "fresh baked cookies"?) 
Buffet Dinner on Saturday night

You will be responsible for dinner on Friday evening, and lunch both Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is located within walking distance to several restaurants with many more only a few minutes card ride away. The Bistro, located in the hotel, offers health choices, a variety of breakfast and dinner options, an evening bar, and specialty beverages made with Starbucks coffee.

Do you have a wagon or large rolling tote you plan to bring? Please note that the hotel has become much stricter regarding clear walkways in the crop room. This is for everyone’s safety, so we will be asking you to help meet their standards. As such, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to “park” your wagon or large rolling tote anywhere other than under your table. In other words, you may not be able to use the space next to table ends or along a wall behind you to store your items if a walkway is considered blocked. 

Still want to have a wagon full of supplies next to you? We have reserved 8 tables on ends that we will guarantee “parking” for your wagon or large rolling tote.  These tables will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. This option must be chosen at the time of registration.

If you wish to have a guaranteed end spot, we may not be able to place your friend across from you unless she also purchases a guaranteed end table seat. Also, if you want to sit with a larger group, we will do our best to accommodate all seating requests.

We are sorry, but we are unable to accept cancellations for this event. However, if you can not attend, you have the option of finding someone to take your place. You must report any changes to us as soon as possible so we can keep our guest list up-to-date. Thank you for your consideration.

If you choose to make a deposit to hold your spot, the following policies apply:

  • A $130 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot for the event.
  • Deposits will only be accepted through the online registration system. 
  • The balance due must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the event start date.
  • Grace Period: registrants are allowed a 10-day grace period to pay the balance due. However, a $10 late fee will be assessed.
  • An email will be sent approximately 45 days prior to the event with instructions for making the final payment.
