Explore the opportunities for leveraging transportation innovations to build healthier communities in this symposium hosted by EZ Ride at the NJHA Conference Center in Princeton.

Featuring experts from the Community Transportation Association of America, North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, NJ Transit, the New Jersey Travel Independence Program at Rutgers, and Essex County Transportation Services, the day's agenda will focus on the role of the public and private sectors in providing transportation services for older adults. Transportation network companies like Uber and Lyft, and transportation brokers like Gogograndparent and EZ Ride will also discuss how their services can help bridge the gap between available senior transportation services and the needs of those who are living independently or aging in place.

Participants will gain an increased awareness of the role of transportation
in improving community health through engaging sessions that include:

  • National Perspectives on Community Transportation
  • Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan
  • The Power of Partnerships
  • Community Transportation Initiatives in New Jersey
  • Growing Older, Better: What's Mobility Got to Do with It?
  • Bridging the Digital Divide and Providing Affordable Transportation
