1:05pm - 1:50pm               Civil Litigation: Deposition to Trial and Beyond - Trial Ethics                                                                           Description: This session will include a discussion of trial ethics and the duties owed                                           to clients and the court. The panel will also focus on do’s and don’ts of witness                                                     preparation, the duty to disclose adverse authority, and ethical rules and case law                                                 involving attorney incivility.

Description: The mock trial will examine elements of an employment dispute involving allegations of sexual harassment. We created a hypothetical case as the ideal training tool for this event. Seasoned employment law attorneys will present the complainant’s and respondent’s respective cases based on a mock fact pattern. They will then provide commentary and explanations of their presentation techniques and strategies as the typical sexual harassment case relies heavily on strategy and presentation skills of a lawyer.
