In a way, many lawyers are like doctors – you tell them what hurts, and they do their best to make the pain go away.
But to Dallas business attorney Chris McNeill, that legal pain can be a symptom of a much larger issue, and it’s only when that bigger situation is dealt with that the legal pain which started the whole thing is often resolved much more smoothly.
A partner with Block & Garden, LLP, and Chris specializes in small business law issues, including negotiating and drafting general business agreements relating to intellectual property licensing agreements, manufacturing, warranty, distribution, supply, employment, joint ventures and software development.
Chris’ practice also includes financial transactions, mergers & acquisitions, securities law, bankruptcy, corporate governance and litigation.
Before joining Block & Garden in 2007, Chris was an associate with Fish & Richardson P.C. in Dallas, where he practiced corporate and securities law. He was previously an associate with Fulbright & Jaworski in Dallas, where he worked on corporate, securities and transaction cases.
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Chris hold a B.A. in political science from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the federal courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas and the bankruptcy court for the Eastern District of Texas.
