Ancestor/Memory Keepsake!
Class description:
This is a fun evening with the focus on bringing new, colorful life to a photo of long ago family members.
Before we meet for class, you'll choose an old, (preferably black and white), photo of ancestors or a pet who has passed away. You can either scan the picture or photograph it, and email this image to Kathryn. She'll create a photo transfer of your image on cotton muslin, which will be waiting for you when you arrive at class.
We'll have fun adding colors to this photo transfer, and we'll also paint a 10" circle canvas to adhere it to. The result is a unique, personal and ready-to-hang keepsake that blends the 'old timey photo' look with a modern splash of colors.
Email your old-timey photo to Kathryn by February 5th!
