Back by popular demand, Vickie Beck, child and adolescent clinical nurse specialist will share her vast experience in working with patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her work with traumatized children and adults was the catalyst to the development of a comprehensive protocol for the treatment of aggression entitled ICAN: I Control Anger Now.  During this session, Ms. Beck will share the ICAN treatment protocol and discuss its adaptation with clients of different ages from different cultures.

At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the epidemiology of anger and aggression;
