2) Troubleshooting the IANB to reduce failure! This portion will also include an anatomy review and alternative techniques such as Gow Gates, Vazarini-Akinosi and Loma Linda.

To refer or not to refer that is often the question. This course, worth 2 CEUs, will provide you with all the information you need when deciding whether or not your patient would benefit from a periodontal referral. Specifically this course will address:

1) The different periodontal issues your patient may have and when a referral is warranted.

2) The different procedures offered by a periodontist and the expected outcomes of these procedures.

3) How to determine a properly tailored maintenance protocol for each patient.

4) Communication tools that can be used with your periodontist.
