90 Day Orton-Gillingham Refresher Course

This self-directed course is intended as a refresher for individuals who have completed The Reading Center / Dyslexia Institute of Minnesota Orton-Gillingham Basic Training.  Using the Blackboard Course Sites platform, The Reading Center has nine modules available for you to review and study.  Included you will find printable documents, videos to view, as well as practice exercises throughout.  All the modules will be open for your ease in maneuvering in and out of modules as well as side bar accessibility for phonogram videos, etc.  You will have access to these materials for 90 days. 

This refresher course is a very valuable course and is filled with everything that is part of our online Basic O-G Training Course.  The only difference is that practicum is not included and you can spend as much or as little time on each of the modules and phonogram videos.  The O-G Refresher Course is done completely independently.  

Upon completion of the 90 day O-G Refresher Course, you will be awarded a clock hour certificate for 45 clock hours.

For who?

Anyone individual who has completed The Reading Center’s / Dyslexia Institute Basic Orton-Gillingham Training.  Your completion of Basic Training with The Reading Center must be verified before you will be emailed your personalized login to use on the site.  Please allow one business day for this verificiation process. 

Cost

$300.00 for a 90 day access period

Register when it works with your schedule.  The Refresher Course is done completely independently.
