Speaker: Kari Zweber Pallmer

Target Audience:  Any school staff teaching social thinking skills to students kindergarten – middle school.

This workshop day will focus on how to use strategies in the core curricula You are a Social Detective! and Superflex®. Participants will explore how to use these and other tools to foster social attention and self-regulation in developmentally appropriate ways for students in kindergarten through middle school. Connections between the Social Thinking concepts and the State Standards will be discussed, including how these

concepts integrate with Social Emotional Learning, and the interrelationships with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS). This interactive workshop

will be filled with creative group activities to help students move from being 'Me' thinkers to 'We' thinkers! All participants will receive a copy of You are a Social Detective! and Superflex® as part of their registration fee.
