2018 Advocacy Training

Do you long for a Georgia that cares better for its most vulnerable citizens? Could the Capitol use a faithful voice advocating for the needs of all Georgians? Are you ready to be part of a powerful, faithful movement for change?

Join us on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, for the Advocacy Traning - an inspirational and educational event hosted by Presbyterians for a Better Georgia, along with their experienced lobbyist, Elizabeth Appley.

Legislative Priorities for 2018:

  • Health Care: Increase access to quality health care for all.
  • Gun Violence: Work to implement common sense measures to reduce gun violence.
  • Homelessness: Support access to shelter, food, healthcare, employment, and critical safety net services.
  • Housing: Advocate for affordable housing.

Special presentations will be made by:

William McFarland, Georgians Advancing Communities Together

Laura Colbert, Georgians for a Health Future
