2018 Tax Law & Human Resource Updates

Get to know the most-up-to-date tax law and Human Resource concerns. How you will be affected by these changes? Is your organization operating with best practices? This workshop will give you an overview on these changes, and how they affect your non-profit.  We will also address common Human Resources concerns seen by nonprofits and how to properly identify and correct these issues to keep your nonprofit mission strong.

Meet our presenter:

Jim Provenza Attorney, CPA, and Nonprofit Consultant, James C Provenza & Associates, PC. Their services for  nonprofits include obtaining or maintaining tax exempt status, and advising on  employment law, fundraising and unrelated business income tax issues. They can also assist smaller organizations set up accounting system and prepare form 990, if required. 

They also provide strategic planning, board training and planned giving consulting through our sister corporation, Provenza Consulting, an alliance of consultants to nonprofits. In addition, he is a consultant with the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Rockford University.
