Health Support Specialist Learning Lab

Institute 2018- Location: Episcopal Homes

 

THE HSS COMMUNITY IS GATHERING FOR A LEARNING LAB, WHO IS INVITED?

HSS (students, apprentices, journey workers), Administrators, Site Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, Human Resources, other staff involved with HSS, and anyone interested in becoming a site or a student!

You are invited to the HSS Learning Lab @ Institute 2018. Be Bold! Our guest speakers' program is "Coach, Mentor, Trainer, Leader: Helping Your Team Succeed".

 

OUR SCHEDULE OF EVENTS!

 

9:00 AM:  Hop on the Bus to Our Learning Lab!

 Leave driving in the city to us.

*Meet in front of the RiverCentre for a bus ride to Episcopal Homes (Laura Lutgens will be there to meet you).

9:30 AM:  Learning Lab Registration/Continental Breakfast/Settle in and network

10:00AM: Welcome and Introductions

10:30AM - 4:30PM:  Learning Lab Program (Lunch Provided)

4:30PM - 5:00 PM:  Breaks/All Aboard the Metro Green Line Train with the Group and Ride from Episcopal Homes to train stop near Pizza Luce Party Room

5:30PM - 7:30PM: Drinks/Food/Fun

7:30PM: Bus pick up from Pizza Luce Party Room back to the RiverCentre

 

The Speakers for The Program

 

 

Cathy Kliber is a Workforce Development Representative with MNDEED, She is a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator, Workforce Development Professional, Offender Specialist and Expert OJT Instructor. Cathy has extensive employment and training experience; providing career guidance, case management, assessment and goal setting

 

 

 

Angele Hartell, PHR/CWDP, is a Workforce Strategy Consultant with MNDEED, with a B.S. in Management and an A.A.S. in Gerontology.  She has extensive experience in older adult services..  In her current role, she assists  stakeholders in developing workforce strategies, including retention and skills training.
