We are all sexual beings, and have that place within us where gender, security, shame, societal norms, and personal agency all meet, in the most personal experience of fantasy and most personal expression of self. While it may not be a presenting issue in therapy, the clients (and therapist’s) sexuality is always present.
This workshop will explore the underlying currents in what makes it easier or more difficult to manage these discussions in the therapy room. We will address in this range of issues from various theoretical and subjective perspectives, toward engaging more candidly and effectively with our clients.
