Pre-registration at 8:30 a.m.
This interactive workshop series is designed to create deeper understanding of the meaning and value of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The first workshop offers a foundation for defining diversity, equity and inclusion, along with the unconscious obstacles to meaningful DEI. The second workshop provides actionable strategies to creating a DEI-focused work environment. The third workshop focuses on determining how to improve client perception of the organization’s DEI brand and including clients as DEI advocates.
It is strongly recommended that participants attend all three workshops because each session builds on knowledge gained in the previous one.
*workshops are only $20/session when you sign up for all three.
Workshop #1 Description
Participants will gain insight into a quality definition of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and appreciation for how unconscious bias awareness can promote meaningful DEI. The participants will also consider their own DEI profile (privately) to inform a conversation on big picture approaches to organizational strategies.
This workshop has a LATE CANCELLATION FEE of $150. This means if you register, and do not attend or send a substitute, your organization will be billed $150. The deadline to cancel without penalty is March 15, 2018.
REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 16, 2018
