The Canada Apprentice Loan is an initiative of the Government of Canada which supports apprentices registered in designated Red Seal trades complete their apprenticeship. Eligible apprentices can receive up to $4,000 in interest-free loans per period of technical training to help pay for tuition, tools, equipment and living expenses, to cover forgone wages or to help support their family.
As the second full year of program implementation comes to an end, learn about how the loan program is being used across the country and discuss opportunities to ensure apprentices are aware of this and other supports available to them.
