How to move from a F1 or a J1 to an H1B 

Trainees in F1 or J1 status often have doubts about how to obtain H1B status to continue their employment in the U.S. Employers are also oftentimes unclear about the procedure to be followed to enable them to retain the services of the foreign national student once they have completed OPT. This panel will present an introduction to the various factors that one should consider when changing status from OPT/J1 to H1B.
