NEW GOLFER PROGRAM REGISTRATION 

The Quad Cities Chapter, EWGA, offers you the best option for learning to play golf ~ a PGA teaching professional who will instruct you in the fundamentals and help you develop a great golf swing! 

Brant McGivern is the head teaching professional at Red Hawk Golf and Learning Center, and has been the director of the First Tee Program at Red Hawk for over 11 years.  He was formerly the assistant pro at Crow Valley Golf Club for nine years, and prior to that, he was assistant pro at Innisbrook Resort in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Brant is especially “tuned in” to instructing new golfers and, in addition to teaching our female students, he has taught many youngsters how to golf as a part of the First Tee Program.

The New Golfer – Learn to Golf Series was developed in 2003 by the Quad Cities Chapter, EWGA, to help women learn to golf for fun and recreation, and is an especially useful tool in the business world as well.  

Five weeks of lessons are followed by six weeks of league play for you and your fellow students. Brant will teach you the basics of golf, and EWGA-QC member-mentors will help you with rules,  golf etiquette and league play in a fun and relaxed environment. Also included in the fee is your first nine-hole golf outing, the Mulligan Cup on Sunday, August 26. The event includes your green fees, cart, meal, and prizes! Participants will include the students from Session 1 & 2 as well as other EWGA members who will be there to ensure you have a wonderful day!

EWGA MEMBERS $200  ~  NON-MEMBERS $225

DATES AND TIMES:

Both eleven-week sessions are held on Tuesday evenings. Choose the session that best suits your schedule.  

-  Session 1 ~ Begins April 24 at 5:30 pm for five weeks of lessons followed by six weeks of league play.  REGISTRATION FOR SESSION 1 IS CLOSED
-  Session 2 ~Begins June 5  Five weeks of lessons at 7:00 pm, followed by six weeks of league play at 5:30 pm. (Limited to 12 students)
