Please register to join a two hour workshop on the morning of February 22nd, during which you will learn to write a plug-in for RokDoc in Python*.
PLACES ARE LIMITED, PLEASE APPLY AND WE WILL CONFIRM YOUR SEAT
1. You will be provided with a RokDoc project loaded with a Lev Vernik dataset for an unconventional play. Please note we provide the laptop for the workshop so just bring yourself!
2. You will, under the guidance of Ikon Science's Product Manager Russell Taylor, learn about syntax, example scripts and XML interface.
3. You will implement one of the equations from Lev Vernik's new book Seismic Petrophysics in Quantitative Interpretation.
4. Once you have the plug-in working, we will direct you to the new RokDoc Community Gitlab area, where you learn how to browse the code repository, download shared plug-ins and upload your own.
5. You will get to take away a USB, complete with a 2 month trial license, a goody-bag including books & gadgets and even the dataset!
6. The more code you upload, the longer you keep your RokDoc External Interface license. For example, if sensible script is contributed to GitLab within your first 2 months, your RokDoc External Interface license is extended to 6 months.
