Join us for 3 days in Baton Rouge, the Louisiana state capital that sits at the heart of a culturally rich region. With easy access to New Orleans in the south and Cajun culture to the west, many families live along the Baton Rouge-New Orleans corridor, traveling between the two frequently. The TEC New Orleans community consists of many Baton Rouge reisdents, including many young adults who are enrolled at LSU, the local and prominent university. This community is excited to share its local flavor and flair with you as they invite everyone to "come to the table" this summer!

The TEC family gathers for 3 days each year so that our call to encounter Christ may deepen. Everyone who is interested in bettering their TEC community is invited to participate. At TEC Encounter, you will find:
- A deeper sense of community
- Networking opportunities with other members of the TEC family
- A greater knowledge of TEC’s spiritual processes
- An opportunity to gather and share resources
- Personal spiritual renewal

PRICING
There are 4 types of registration available:
ROOMATE REQUESTS
Mutually requested roommates will be paired together if all roommates register before May 31, 2018, when we will begin to create the rooming list. Any requested roommate who has not registered by May 31 may be assigned a different room. For those who register for a room but do not have roommate requests, we will assign roommates according to age range and gender.
SPOUSES
Spouses may register on the same registration form. Fill out the contact information for one person and choose "Double" as your room option. Then, select "Add Spouse" on the form and fill in your spouse's name. For your spouse, select "Double" as the second room option. This will be a total of $370 (excluding any extra items purchased) and will guarantee that spouses will room together.
LODGING
Each bedroom has four single beds and a private bathroom.
PRIVATE ROOMS
The Bishop Tracy Center is not equipped with single person rooms. Guests who would prefer this accommodation are welcome to register with the "Day Rate" and then request the "TEC Encounter" block at either of two nearby hotels:

Guests booking at the Marriott may either call or use this link to reserve their room. All Marriott rooms MUST be reserved by June 15, 2018.
Both hotels are approximately a half mile from the Bishop Tracy Center; the local Wheat Team will provide shuttles in the morning and evening.
DAY RATE:
The day rate covers the cost of meals and programming for Encounter, not lodging. Those selecting the day rate must make plans to stay off campus, such as those wanting single/private rooms (see section above), or those who may be staying with a local friend.
REFUNDS:
Full refunds are available until June 1, 2018. Partial refunds MAY be available until July 1, 2018.
TRAVEL
The local Wheat Team will provide a shuttle service for all those flying into the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) for Encounter. On your registration form, please indicate your travel plans INCLUDING flight information to help us coordinate rides. If you do not have your travel plans made at the time of registration, please email us with the details when you make them, or we will contact you in late May/early June to follow up.
The New Orleans airport (MSY) is an hour away. Those flying into New Orleans must arrange for their own transportation to and from Baton Rouge.
