This workshop is a 1-day crash course on e-commerce, compressed from a 5-day training class. The content is industry-agnostic… not just for retailers. The format is slow-paced, highly interactive, and hands-on. Attendees are each required to bring a wi-fi enabled laptop or a tablet to practice on. The workshop is offered in 2 sessions:

 MORNING SESSION – LEARN AND PRACTICE (9am - 12:30pm)  $60

Attend the morning session to learn the role of e-commerce in your growth strategy, explore various basic and advanced e-commerce concepts, and practice launching a fully-functional shopping cart on SharedMall’s proprietary e-commerce training platform, available exclusively through this SCORE workshop.

ATERNOON SESSION – IMPLEMENT & LAUNCH (1:30 - 4pm) $40

Attend this optional afternoon session to apply the learning from morning session, which is a prerequisite for this session. In this session you will select your preferred e-commerce platform (e.g. Etsy, Ecwid, Shopify, SharedMall, X-Cart, GrubHub, etc.) and implement and launch a hosted solution suitable for your business. You will receive hands-on assistance with ramping up from zero to launch, during this session.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR 

Jatin Patro is the Founder of the website and e-commerce platform  SharedMall, and a Small Business Consultant. He s a Computer Science graduate with 20+ years of experience in hi-tech industry, including 14 years at Intel and 10 years designing online solutions for businesses. Jatin is currently pursuing his passion of advancing online technology to favor local economies, is leading a nationwide effort for business communities to better serve their resident businesses online, and is authoring 2 books on e-commerce innovations, offering a vision for a future, where small, local, and independent businesses are the preferred choice online.
