NEFLIN Children's Services East Interest Group (2/22/18) 

The Children's Services East Interest Group presents the opportunity to share and collaborate with colleagues from the Eastern NEFLIN region.  We will share successes, great ideas, ways to handle challenges, what is new and exciting, and more.  Join us as we work our way through 2018 learning from and supporting each other.   

The first meeting of 2018 will take place at the Marion County Headquarters Library in Ocala on Thursday, February 22nd, from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Join us for a "Libraries Rock! Summer Program Swap"! 

 Ever been to cookie swap?  You bring one kind of cookie and go home with a dozen or more!  Let’s swap Libraries Rock! Summer program ideas.  Bring one program and go home with as many as we have participants.  Think about that for a minute.  So much talent, so many great ideas, so many seeds for your summer programs.  Please bring one, just one, well thought out program with as many visual aids as you want.  Bring materials, outlines, craft samples, etc. We will spend the morning sharing and the afternoon in discussion. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please Note:  The Children's Services East Interest Group serves the counties of Marion, Putnam, Clay, Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Flagler, Volusia, and Brevard. However, any NEFLIN member is welcome to attend meetings of the Children's Services West group, as well.

Jenny Ransone has been employed with the Marion County Public Library System for eight years. Jenny has been a Children’s Services librarian and the Circulation manager before being promoted to her current position. Jenny began her library career in Greenwood, Indiana where she managed a library based volunteer literacy program.
